1 Month

In a couple of days it will be our 1 month anniversary of homeschooling.  I must say it has been an experience like none before.  The first few days I was ready to send her back to school.  We both shed some tears that first week!  We started out with a workbook based curriculum, that I will not name because I'm sure it is excellent, just not for us.  After the first week I started looking for a new curriculum.  Kayla hated the one we were using, mainly because she is a busy, hands-on kind of learner.  I hated it because she needed my help every 2 seconds and I had my own school work I was trying to do.  I googled "cheap" online curriculum and I found time4learning.com.  I wasn't sure about it because it sounded too good to be true.  I read reviews and talked to my cousin, Stacey, who has been homeschooling forever.  She checked it out and called me back and said it looked wonderful!  So, I signed up and we LOVE IT!!!  Kayla says she feels like she is playing a game all day, but she is learning also!!  We have come a long way since that first week and I don't think I have threatened to send her back to school in the last 3 weeks.  I'm sure we will still have issues, but so far, so good!

I've been invited to try Time4Learning for one month in exchange for a candid review. My opinion will be entirely my own, so be sure to come back and read about my experience. Time4Learning can be used as a homeschool curriculum, for afterschool enrichment and for summer skill sharpening. Find out how to write your own curriculum review for Time4Learning.
